Ladies Singles – Carol Crick beat Kim Challinor 23-16 and will represet Hazells next season as Ladies Champion of Champions

Men’s Singles – Brain Abigail earnt his place in next season’s Champion of Champions competition by beating Roger Crick 22-15

Men’s Triples – Andrew MacKenzie, Neil Thompson & Gerry  Moores finished off the weekend in style by taking their game in to an extra end that they won 15-14 against Don Russell, Ian Ramsay & Tony Leone.

Mixed Triples - Quarter Finals - 23rd July 2016 - Due To County Finals Involvement we will only be playing the Quarter Finals of the Mixed Triples on Saturday 23rd July at 9.30am. The Semi Finals will be re-scheduled asap

Aussie Pairs - 17th September 2016 - 1pm

This afternoon we had 21 bowlers taking part in this year’s Aussie Pairs competition which saw 1 team have 3 players that played 2 games each. This is always an enjoyable format where each bowler plays lead & skip. With 10 teams we split the teams in to 2 groups with each team playing 3 games of 7 ends. In Group A Ellen & Andrew finished on 13 points, Sue Morgan & Neil got 7 points, Len & Geoff got 17 points, Kim & John Smith had 16 points, Lionel & Ann Ramsay got 17 points however the winners of this group were Kate & Nick who finished with 20 points. In Group B there were 4 teams so each team played each other and Roger & Carol propped up the group with 12 points, then came Roy & Dan with 13 points, Brian, Sue Smith & Gerry finished with 15 points leaving Ann Richardson & Jack as group winners with 20 points. The final was also played over 7 ends and this was a close game however it was Ann & Jack that won the competition by 3 shots from Kate & Nick.
